This is my weekly post about the upcoming sermon topic. I apologize for not getting it on the blog earlier in the week.

This Sunday I am focusing on Romans 14. It is a great passage in which the Bible instructs us how to live with Christian liberty and yet not harm other believers in doing so. It is a very practical passage and very important in light of the huge emphasis on individualism in our culture.

My title is simply going to be “How To Be A Loving Church.” I should say I am not talking about some problem in the church.  I actually think that for the most part this is not a problem at Westheights but I just want to be proactive and talk about this because Romans 14 fits so well for our theme for this year, called Revolutionary Love.  Let’s start by loving the people in our own church since we are talking about loving like Jesus loved.
