Last Sunday we started a new sermon series based on 1 Corinthians 13. I am calling the series “A Lifestyle of Love.”  I chose this name because I think, if you were to live out the directives of this passage, it would affect every area of your life. Love would become your lifestyle. I hope that during this series we can demonstrate that through the teaching.

This Sunday I am focusing on the words “love is kind.” I am going to look at the passage of the Good Samaritan and consider how he serves as an example of kindness. There are a lot of great timeless truths in the story and I hope that I can communicate clearly the challenge in Jesus story in Luke 10.

I intend to talk about the three types of people represented by the story. Then I hope to extract the qualities of kind people so aptly demonstrated in the Good Samaritan.

Have you read this story lately?

Were there any truths from the story that God whispered to your heart?

Let me know, I would be glad to hear from you.
