Bibles for Missions Thrift Store, on Highland near Belmont, is moving in early August to 27 Scott Street (the former Braun’s Bicycles location). At this new address, they will be able to serve the community with double the floor space and at a more central location. The new store will need good quality recycled items, more volunteers, additional drivers and helpers for pick-up and delivery. They also need volunteers to assist with renovations at the store. If you can help, please contact the store manager, Darlene Sherrard, at 519-578-3860.

Bibles for Missions Thrift Stores turn donated goods into cash for ministry while recycling good, used items. The cash is forwarded to the Bible League of Canada which has four aims focused on the emerging world:

1) Adult-based literacy programs

2) Ministry to children

3) Scripture placement

4) Training for church planters
