Registrations forms for Pitch ‘n Praise 2014 are still available for all Sr. Highs! If you’ve never been, Pitch ‘n Praise is an annual retreat for Sr. High students held in Paris, ON over the Victoria Day long weekend – May 16-19th. It’s four days of nonstop artists, worship, games, engaging speakers and sessions, sports and even more!
Pitch ‘n Praise is unique in that it’s a camping retreat, where we tent out (the “Pitch” part of the time) in a huge field, surrounded by the stars and the hum of activity from around the site. Pitch has almost 2000 regular attenders every year, so you really get a chance to meet some new friends and interact with some great guests. What makes Pitch so special is its amazing ability to push you further in your connection with God and at the same time, providing a great atmosphere for getting to know other Sr. Highs at Westheights. If you haven’t already registered, the rate for the weekend is $135/student. Partial weekend rates are available but why would you only want to go to part of this amazing weekend?!
This year Pitch will be welcoming the amazing and astounding Tony Campolo to speak during our sessions. This may be the last opportunity you’ll ever have to hear this world-renowned speaker, who just recently announced his retirement. Also back this year is artist DJ Kubicks … There will be a ton of other great acts there, so sign up now!
Registrations forms and cheques/cash can be handed in:
- Directly to Tom Fenske
- Left in Tom’s mail file in the foyer.
- Handed into Mimi in the office.
- Emailed to Tom (tomfenske@westheights.org). If you email, please drop a cheque off to complete your registration.
If you want to attend but are concerned about the financial costs, please speak to Tom. People have offered to help families make this affordable.
