Thanks for joining us for a special Football Sunday service. It was a great opportunity to invite friends and family to a unique message which celebrated the increase of Christ and the decrease of self (John 3:30) in the lives of NFL players. Some of us even came garbed in sports jerseys, and Doritos were set out for snacking after the service, thanks to the inspiration from the Skit Guys’ halftime commercial. (You had to be there.)
The video we showed in church yesterday morning was exclusively for our live church services; licensing agreement with NFL Films for the footage they provided stipulated that the church version couldn’t live on past yesterday.
