I just wanted to mention that the worship night this Sunday evening was great. I really appreciated the chance to get together and sing and worship with others. It was very uplifting.
And it was an extra bonus that it was a time when my daughter and I could worship together in a larger group setting. She is usually with the other youth on Sunday mornings. 🙂
Thanks for another great experience. (If you agree, click the “Comments” link)
I really appreciated the opportunity to worship with our “new” community of believers. It is so awesome that we have been blessed with this way of worshipping our Father.
On Sunday afternoon our family had the wonderful opportunity to listen to a 30-person Mennonite choir ministering at a care facility. I enjoyed basking in the comfort of my chair, soaking in the sun and listening to four-part acappella harmony. However, it’s so much more uplifting to actually participate in worship, as we did Sunday night. I guess it’s like “interactive worship” as opposed to a “spectator sport.”
I thought it was great having the families together. Sometimes I wonder if we have segmented the church too much with the emphasis on age-related programming over the past fifty years.
