Thank you Halloween for Hunger Volunteers!

Thanks to the many volunteers, Westheights’ Halloween for Hunger 2011 was a tremendous success! Once again we had a great time meeting new people, working with old friends, getting to see some really fun costumes, enjoying some fresh air and exercise, connecting with our community and – of course – collecting a ton of food for The Food Bank of Waterloo Region!

Please don’t forget to bring your own non-perishable food donations this coming Sunday, November 6th. We are holding off our food pick-up so we at Westheights can add to the large pile of food collected in the foyer.


After the pick-up, The Food Bank will get back to us with a grand total of exactly how much food we collected.  We’ll be sure to let you know!
