We’ve arrived. We are safe and sound in the city of Masaya, Nicaragua. We were all pretty excited at the airport this morning and we got a group shot of the team in front of the Taca airlines sign:
We started our trip with some fun at the airport passing time with a game of Chase the Ace. We started this tradition last year and are continuing it on again.
It was a long day of travelling but here we are having dinner:
at the Hotel de Raizon just outside of Masaya. The hotel is basic but more than adequate for our stay.
Everyone is in good spirits and excited about the work project that starts in the morning. The kids club begins at 9:00 am tomorrow morning and we are told that there will be likely 100-175 kids.
Don’t forget to pray for us and use the devotional and prayer guide written by Karen Mansfield for our team and our church. This prayer guide will help us be focused in our prayer for the ministry the team is undertaking over the next two weeks.

Glad to read that all are safe. Great to see the pictures. Very impressed with all of you and very proud of my wife Glynis and son Liam, 2 veterans of humanitarian missions.
