Thanks to everyone who came and participated at Halloween for Hunger. Sixty-six volunteers helped in many capacities, and many came in some pretty fun costumes (see photos below).
You know that the Forest Heights community is committed alongside us when they actually drop off their food to the church because they won’t be home on Halloween night. Or they patiently call us the day after Halloween to say that we somehow missed collecting at their home (oops!).
We collected a mountain of food and will tell you what the official weight is within a couple of weeks. This Sunday (November 4) is your chance to add to the collection by bringing your own bag of food in!
