I have the privilege and fun job of announcing the anniversary offering. Last year we received just over $27,000 which was way higher than any anniversary offering we had received before. This year I tried to keep expectations low because of the tough economy and people going through difficult financial times, 
but you managed to fool me. You gave the best offering we have ever received on a Sunday; the anniversary giving was $30,500. Give yourselves a pat on your back. You are an amazing and generous church.
