Beginning in July of 2012, our mentors and I began a process of evaluating how and why we do student ministry in Westheights. On Sunday January 13th from Noon to 1:30PM, we’ll be hosting a Parent’s Feedback Meeting, in the new Big Meeting Room in the Office Complex. We’ll be taking the next step in that process by gathering critical feedback from you, our parents.
As our approach to student ministry continues to evolve, your feedback is critical to our community’s ability to understand what is going on in the lives of our young people. Over lunch, we’ll be discussing what you see as markers of development in your children, what their views of Christianity and Jesus are, and what the role of the Church is and should be in that process of development. We’ll also be previewing a preliminary document of our findings as mentors about the challenges and developments happening in culture and what our response as the body of Christ could be. Your feedback is critical, so we encourage all parents regardless of time spent connected to Westheights as a whole to attend.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me via phone (519.741.1986 ex.804) or email (tomfenske@westheights.org).
Hope to see you there!
