On Monday we went to visit with Pastor Margaret of the Nairobi BIC Church. We had attended her service on Sunday and had heard about some other ministries she was part of in Niarobi. After hosting us over a long lunch and a time of prayer we went with her to another neighbourhood where she has a ministry to young men who are alcoholics.
We asked to take one picture of the group and you can see it here. It was very touching to hear her passion to help these young men and to provide basic food and drinks for them. They meet in the basement of a construction site every Friday. She pastors them and encourages them.
