The Gerbers had a bumper crop of apples this year, so apple cider and fresh apples abound. Buy your fresh apple cider and apples from the Gerbers this week, and take advantage of their delicious crop. Spread the word, because there’s not enough storage for their apple bounty.
The first pressing will be THIS Friday (September 18) and will be ready for pick up late afternoon and evening, at the Gerber home in Shakespeare. This pressing will be all McIntosh apples.
Due to lack of storage space for all this cider, pre-sales and Friday pick-up would be much appreciated.

Apple Cider
If you don’t know the difference between apple cider and apple juice, apple cider is pure and natural with no sugar additives. Fresh cider is raw apple juice that has not undergone a filtration process to remove coarse particles of pulp or sediment. As a result, it needs to be refrigerated as it has not been pasteurized. However, the cider freezes really well and once put in the fridge will last up to 7 days. It is a great family treat, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas time.
The Gerbers’ apple cider is fresh pressed and comes in 1.3 liter “milk” bags. The price is $2.50 a bag.
Due to lack of storage space for all this cider, pre-sales and Friday pick-up would be much appreciated.
