This past Sunday was our Jubilee Sunday, our all ages worship experience, where kids from 0-99 sang, laughed, worshiped, danced, and played together as a church family.
We asked questions about our money, our values, and generosity, and learned about the joy and freedom that comes with giving all things to God and realizing everything we have is a gift from God.
Some families were also rocked to the core by one hard-hitting question: would you sell your pet for $1 million?
We all took away a couple of chocolate gold coins with the choice to either eat the chocolate or to take it home and give it to someone who didn’t get one. Such a great lesson on generosity and sharing from our bounty.
