This week marks the one year anniversary of Josh Mutter’s leadership at Westheights Church. It’s hard to believe that a year has already transpired; in some ways it feels like we’re still getting to know one another (yes, Josh, we have mice, bats and skunks – welcome to life in a portable office) and yet in many ways the Mutter family has transitioned so smoothly into our community that it feels like they’ve been here for years (is there anyone here who hasn’t been warmly welcomed by Josh or Michelle?). We’ve already had an adventurous first year with Josh as our Lead Pastor and we are grateful for his wisdom, sensitivity, compassion, and insightfulness.
We are thankful for Josh, Michelle, Silas and Isaac, and pray that God will continue to bless them and their ministry at Westheights.
Speaking of “thankful,” as we head into the Thanksgiving weekend, we leave you with these words by Rick Warren, author of Purpose Driven Life …
In happy moments, PRAISE GOD. In difficult moments, SEEK GOD. In quiet moments, WORSHIP GOD. In painful moments, TRUST GOD. Every moment, THANK GOD.
These are the songs we’ll be singing this Sunday (October 13, 2019), along with a YouTube playlist.
