I could dish out all sorts of food puns to capture your attention about an upcoming church community event… [Oh wait, I guess I just did!]

Right when you thought you’d have to wait a whole year to pull out that crockpot of yours for the next Chilli cook-off, I am here to let you know you don’t have to shove it too far back in your cupboards. You might want it out for this upcoming event.

This event, my friends, is a PALOOZA you won’t want to miss. A what? That’s right, Westheights is hosting a Potluck Palooza all across the area on Saturday, April 4th, 2020. What this means is that simultaneous gatherings will be happening at various Westheights Church family host locations around KW from 4pm – 6:30pm.

It is our vision that Westheights Church be a vibrant community of believers, and one of the ways we can strengthen our community is by gathering and connecting. Just as we can connect through the Chili Cookoff, games nights, and monthly women’s and men’s gatherings, Potluck Palooza is another opportunity for us to grow in relationship with one another.

Potluck Palooza is meant to be an opportunity to connect over food with our church families who are geographically near us. For instance, if you live in the Westvale area, you’re encouraged to sign up for the host location in that area (even if you don’t really know who they are!)

For our April Palooza we have hosts in the following neighbourhoods:

  • Westvale
  • Forest Heights
  • Forest Hill
  • Country Hills West
  • Strasburg
  • St. Clements

Sign-up sheets will be available in the foyer. Check out the map and see which host location is nearest to you! All ages are welcome at all locations. Bring along a main dish plus a side dish, dessert, or salad to share! Out of consideration for those with nut allergies, we ask that all food be nut-free.
