Grace
Message by Josh Mutter – January 16, 2021
Big Idea: We want to be a church that practices grace with one another.
We practice grace when we remind each other of God’s forgiveness.
…but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 6:23 NIV
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith – and this is not from yourselves, it is a gift from God… – Ephesians 2:8 NIV
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. James 5:16
We practice grace as we learn to offer and receive forgiveness.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. – Eph 4:32 NIV
We practice grace when we bring goodness into the lives of one another.
He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. Matthew 5:45 NIV
Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms – 1 Peter 4:10 NIV
