Merry Christmas Westheights!
Ready or not, Christmas is right around the corner, with Advent starting on December 3. With this in mind we wanted to make sure we let you in on a few things that you won’t want to miss out on this Christmas season.
Advent Devotionals – The BIC has once again produced an excellent Advent Devotional for us. In the coming weeks, you will be able to access a digital or printable version of the Advent Devotional by clicking here. There will be a limited supply of hardcopy versions available in the church foyer starting on November 26.
Christmas “C” Kick-off – Join us as we kick off this Christmas season! Sunday, December 3 at 6pm, come to Westheights Church for some Christmasy (or rather Christmas “C”) fun. We will gather to sing Christmas Carols together, Chuckle and Connect, drink some Cider, maybe eat a couple Cookies. Click here for more details.
Practicing Generosity – At this time of year, many of us are looking to give gifts that make a difference in the lives of those in need. On December 3rd, Todd Lester will tell us about a uniquely BIC sponsorship program called the Nepal Peace Project. In addition, we are invited to check out the MCC Giving Guide or the BIC Global website for opportunities to help people around the world this Christmas.
Christmas Eve Services – This year we are excited to be offering Christmas Eve services both in-person and online. Please note the service times as they are different from previous years. December 23 at 6pm and December 24 at 3pm & 6pm. If you are inviting a friend, feel free to share christmas.westheights.org!
No Morning Service on December 24 – Lastly, with Christmas Eve falling on a Sunday this year, we have decided that we will not be having a morning service on December 24th. Instead, we invite you to join us at either 3 or 6pm.”
