(FEEDBACK: As you join us during Reset Retreat, we’d love your feedback after you experience it. Click here for the feedback form.)
Join us February 25th & 26th for a chance to reset during this weary season. 82 Westheights Dr. will be open for 31 hours, from 3pm-10pm the next day, for anyone needing a space to come for a few hours to reflect, breathe, pray, or just be still. Stations to encourage contemplative practices will be available for anyone to come and go through at their own pace. Volunteers will be available to answer questions you have.
This is a self-guided retreat with stations you can go through at your own pace. Go through all the stations, or find one that is really what is what you need and stay in that space for the whole time. This is a time to reconnect with God, and to reconnect with yourself. To Pause. To Rest. To Be.
Come by yourself, or invite others to come do a self-guided retreat at the same time you are, so that you may reflect on the stations afterwards together. We will provide a writing booklet and materials specific to the contemplative stations, but if you prefer your own journal and Bible, bring it along! Have questions? Email reset@westheights.org
WHO: Anyone that needs a space to reset, reflect, and be with God. Please note: Children who understand the idea of reflective/spiritiual practices are welcome, but we ask that they are accompanied by a guardian.
WHAT: Bring what you need to settle into a space of personal reflection with God – journal, Bible, water bottle, etc. Please Note: One of the contemplative stations will use headphones. We will provide them, but if you feel more comfortable bringing your own, feel free to do so. One of the contemplative stations does take place outside, weather permitting. Please bring outdoor things that will keep you warm.
WHEN: Anytime between 3pm on February 25th, and 10pm on February 26th, for however short or long you need. Previous years some attendees came for 1/2 hour, others for 2 hours, and some for much longer.
WHERE: 82 Westheights Church
@Home: Want to participate in the retreat from home? Sign up to receive the @home materials here
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE: Some of the contemplative stations take place in the lower level of the church. As our building doesn’t have a lift, if you’re unable to do stairs, there is a door to access the lower level at the outer back of the church, weather permitting, that our volunteers can open for you. If you have any questions about this, please ask our volunteers day of, or email reset@westheights.org ahead of time. Add it to your calendar.
