LORD’S PRAYER: LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION

Message by Josh Mutter – February 4, 2024

Matthew 6:9-13 NIV  “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’

BIG IDEA:  Through prayer, we can seek God’s help to make decisions we will not regret

1. Through prayer, we admit that we are vulnerable to making decisions that we may regret.

Matthew 26:41a NIV  Watch and pray that you will not fall into temptation.

2. Through prayer, we seek God’s protection from influences that tempt us to make decisions that we may regret.
