Message by Anita Giardina Lee – July 7, 2024
John 10:14-15 NIV I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.
Who said it? Guess who said the following: Jesus or not Jesus?
QUESTION 1: “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”
QUESTION 2: “Does Job fear God for nothing?” he replied. “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. But now stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”
A: Job 1:9-11
QUESTION 3: He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” … “You will not certainly die,” he said to the woman. “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
QUESTION 4: “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” Then he stooped down again and wrote in the dust. When the accusers heard this, they slipped away one by one, beginning with the oldest, until only he was left in the middle of the crowd with the woman. Then he stood up again and said to the woman, “Where are your accusers? Didn’t even one of them condemn you?”
A: John 8:7-10
QUESTION 5: “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”
QUESTION 6: “Know that I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
