HAPPINESS REMINDER: Happiness is more about “who” than “what.”
BIG IDEA: Happiness is the end result of how we decide to live now.
Matthew 5:3-10 (NIV) “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven..

6. Happy people have clarity on what matters – Blessed are the pure in heart for they will see God.
7. Happy people are not trouble makers – Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.
8. Happy people accept that there is a cost for doing the right thing – Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
CLOSING THOUGHTS …
HAPPINESS is the end result of how we decide to live now.
Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV) “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash.”
