Message by Josh Mutter – September 21, 2025

BIG IDEA: Our life together is empowered by circles of people who are committed to Jesus and to one another.

Circles are those smaller groups of people who know our story, pray for us and help us to follow Jesus.

Mark 3:13-15 (NIV)  Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, and they came to him. He appointed twelve that they might be with him and that he might send them out to preach and to have authority to drive out demons.

Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)  They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.

THOUGHTS ON CIRCLES

  • Circles anchor us in the presence of Jesus.
  • Circles shape us through shared life.
  • Circles show the world a different way of life.
