Message by Josh Mutter – October 5, 2025
BIG IDEA: Every time we resist reacting, we create space to engage our divided world differently.
Matthew 5:3-4 (NIV) Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.
- We resist reacting when we admit that we don’t have all the answers.
- We resist reacting when we allow ourselves space to grieve.
Matthew 6:9-13 (NIV) ‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.’
