Message by Josh Mutter- Nov 9, 2025

Matthew 5:8 (NIV) Blessed are the pure of heart, for they will see God.

Big Idea: When our hearts are whole and honest before God, we begin to see clearly.

Purity of heart is not about what others see, but about what we set our hearts to see.
A pure heart is one refined and devoted to God, marked by integrity rather than perfection.
A pure heart begins to notice God’s presence in all areas of life.

Matthew 6:22-23 (NIV) The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

  • When we fix our eyes on comparison, we lose sight of contentment.
  • When we fix our eyes on possessions, we lose sight of purpose.
  • When we fix our eyes on worry, we lose sight of trust.
