Big Idea: Jesus transforms our deepest chaos into peace and wholeness.
Mark 5 (NIV) “They went across the lake to the region of the Gerasenes. When Jesus got out of the boat, a man with an impure spirit came from the tombs to meet him. This man lived in the tombs, and no one could bind him anymore, not even with a chain….”
In every struggle, Jesus’ heart is for freedom and restoration.
While evil is built on illusions of fear and control, Jesus is the truth that sets us free.
Closing Thoughts:
- In what ways do I resist Jesus because I’m afraid of how he might disrupt my life?
- Responding to Jesus is an invitation to a life that is fundamentally larger than ourselves.
