Calling all lunch companions!
Whether you love hosting or simply enjoy sharing a meal, Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch is a simple and meaningful way to connect with others from our church community. On Sunday, January 18th, people from all stages of life will gather in homes across our church to share food, conversation, and community.
This isn’t about fancy meals or perfect homes—it’s about showing up, pulling up a chair, and getting to know one another in a way that’s hard to do on a Sunday morning.
Why Participate?
Sharing a meal creates space for real conversation, laughter, and connection. It’s one of the most natural ways to build a sense of belonging and deepen relationships within our church. Whether you host or attend, this is a simple step that can lead to meaningful friendships and encouragement.
Want to Attend?
Everyone is welcome! As a guest, you’ll be invited into a home with others from our church community to enjoy a relaxed, welcoming meal. You’ll bring either a salad or dessert, and the rest is simply showing up and being yourself.
Want to Host?
Hosting is a beautiful way to extend hospitality and care to others in our church family. Hosts provide the main part of the meal, but it doesn’t need to be fancy—just warm and welcoming. Opening your home is a simple yet powerful way to live out community together.
Prefer to meet at a restaurant?
If hosting or meeting in a home isn’t the best fit, you can choose to gather with others at a local restaurant (i.e Swiss Chalet). This option offers the same opportunity to connect and share a meal—just in a different setting. Each family/party will be responsible for covering the cost of their own meal.
