Join us for a night of prayer, on Wednesday, March 9 at 7:30 pm, as we ask the Lord’s blessing on our special season of Lent, with a focus on living out the words of Jesus through acts of compassion.
Our theme for this year’s 40 day Spiritual Adventure is “Living Red: Faith That Bleeds,” based on the idea that in the New Testament the words of Jesus are often in red print. So we are committing ourselves in a bigger and better way to follow the teachings of Jesus especially as they relate to compassion – for the poor, the br
oken and the hurting. That’s our desire for this season of Lent – a time when we think of purification and preparation leading up to Easter. We really want to focus on Jesus, His teaching and His example of how He loved people with great compassion.
