This past summer I had the opportunity to go to a world wide gathering of Anabaptist churches.  Here is my recount of my experience in a sermon that I preached at Westheights.  I found above almost anything, that people in other cultures, especially in South America embrace community and relationships to such a  higher degree then we do in North America.  I was there in the height of the H1N1 scare and inspite of the all the warnings not to shake hands or hug people, the South American delegates couldn’t help but hug their brothers and sisters in the Church.  This kind of risk and passion for people was *cheesy pun alert* infectious.
