From today’s KW Record: CRESSMAN, Ernie Ernie passed away, unexpectedly, at K-W Health Centre of Grand River Hospital, on Monday, October 18, 2010, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of 54 years to Marie. Caring father of John (Melanie), Mark, Paul (Courtney), and Brian. Proud grandfather of Leah, Wesley, Margo, Aedyn, Caleb, and Joshua. Dear brother of Edwin Cressman and brother-in-law of Grace Cressman and Ruth and Stuart Bowman. Predeceased by his parents, John and Dora Cressman, brother Carl Cressman, sister Lois Cressman, and sister-in-law Beatrice Cressman. Ernie was a faithful, longtime member of Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church in Kitchener. He was also a member of the Schneider Male Chorus for 28 years. Relatives and friends are invited to share memories of Ernie during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home , 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Thursday, October 21st from 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at Bethany Evangelical Missionary Church, 160 Lancaster St. E., Kitchener on Friday, October 22, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ron Curl officiating. Immediately following the service, everyone is invited to a reception in the church fellowship hall. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery.
