Sharing these ideas helps inspire and encourage us as we strive together to make this Christmas more meaningful and worshipful.
- This year, I’m hanging ornaments on a cross instead of a tree. (contributed by a jr high student)
- At work, instead of exchanging gifts we pooled the money we would normally have spent and are using it to support a family from the Angel Tree – gifts, food vouchers, etc. There are nine of us on our team.
- Instead of giving each of my staff a small gift this year, I am going to make a donation to ROOF. ROOF was my department’s United Way organization to support over the next year. The gift will mean more to those at ROOF than the staff, I’m sure.
