Our sympathies to Rick Boyle on the passing of his wife Jean, who went to be with her Lord this past Friday night (March 4, 2011). Jean loved the Lord deeply and passed peacefully. She attended Westheights Church for several years, serving in many capacities (Sudanese refugee program, deposit assistant, Kids Club drama assistant), before moving to Harvest Bible Chapel in Cambridge. Those of us who had the privilege of knowing her will miss her very much. We extend our condolences to Rick and their family on this great loss, and wish God’s peace and comfort at this time.

Boyle, Jean – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family at Lisaard House on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the age of 64.
Beloved wife of Richard (Rick) Boyle for 43 years. Loving mother of Steve Boyle (Ingrid), Kristie Sachs (Jason). Grandmother to Holli, Jackson, Adam, Meghan, Brandi, Aaron, Aiden, Jordyn. Jean will be missed her brother Alan Smith (Margaret) and sister Irene Matley (Vernon) and their families. Predecased by her parents William and Agnes (nee Holleran) Smith.
Jean’s family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, March 11th, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Funeral service 11 am Saturday, March 12th, 2011 at Westheights Brethern In Christ Church, 82 Westheights Dr., Kitchener followed by a reception. Pastor Jacob Reaume and Pastor Todd Lester officiating. Cremation to follow.
As expressions of sympathy donations to Lisaard House or the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
Jean was a very caring person and showed her love in many practical ways. She often served quietly, in the background. She was a valued member of our House Church and I always appreciated her prayers and concern for us. My heart goes out to the family….she spoke lovingly of her grandchildren and I know she will be greatly missed.
