During recent months John Fraser, the pastor of Fallsview BIC Church, had been battling against cancer. Although the prognosis for John had been good, this past Thursday (March 10th) he suddenly took a turn for the worse and on Wednesday March 16th he lost his earthly battle to cancer.
Let us pray for his wife Cathy and his family in this time of pain and loss.
John had been instrumental in leading many large work teams to Haiti over the past decade and had been the pastor at Fallsview for the past fifteen years. The funeral details are below.
Visitation: Saturday, March 19th: 6 – 9 pm; Sunday, March 20th: 2 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm.
Interment will take place prior to the service on Monday, March 21st at 10:00 am at McAffee Cemetery (Niagara Blvd. & Thompson Road, Fort Erie, ON).
The Service: Monday, March 21st, 11:30 am at Port Colborne BIC Church 10641 Hwy #3 West, Port Colborne, Ontario. Pastors Brian Lofthouse, Gord Gilmore, and Mike Anderson officiating.
