Kudos to Gillian Fenske and to all of the enthusiastic volunteers who lived out such a strong commitment to the Kids’ Club cause this summer! Clearly, you are wild about the King, and your selfless serving–after a long day of work and often childcare–inspires us all! As a parent, and on behalf of the children of Westheights, I thank you all wholeheartedly. Kids’ Club is like a retreat/camp experience for our Westheights kids, many of whom are too young to go to Kahquah…You have given them an opportunity to focus on their relationship with God (and others) for 5 straight days. When I see the growth my own daughter enjoys from experiences like these, I’m thrilled. And watching the spiritual growth and leadership-building happening in us as leaders and volunteers…Praise God, who leads us, and who has been our faithful Source!
