Rehearsals for our 5th Sunday of service leading at Forest Heights Long Term Care Centre are underway, and the SK-Grade 8’s are eagerly practising their parts. We’re nodding our heads in I-should-have-known wonder as we watch the kids sing, act, read, dance, play and write prayers and sermons–exploring their gifts and learning how to use them to worship and inspire!
Thank-you parents, and Westheights community, for your support and encouragement. It’s a flurry of activity that ends with the service we plan to lead on Sunday, December 4th at Forest Heights. Please download the Rehearsal Schedule for FHLTCC Service and Final Instructions 2011 to help you to see the big picture, how you can help at home, as well as the details of where your child will need to be, and when.
Except for a few leaders who plan to stay at the church to greet visiting children (who may not be comfortable accompanying us on the field trip) there’ll be no regular program for SK-Grade 8’s on the morning of December 4th. So please get those SignUp for FHLTCC-2011 permission forms in ASAP! (Also, please note that except for the Worship Team, which is made up of all participants, teams will be considered complete on Sunday, November 13, so that those participating can count on adequate rehearsal time with their fellow team members.)
