December is quickly flying by. Because of the timing of Christmas and New Year’s days this year, please note that this Sunday (December 18) is the last Sunday that an offering will be taken for the general fund for the 2011 giving year.
The offerings that will be taken at the Christmas Eve Services are designated to purchase building materials for the Westheights mission trip to Nicaragua.
If you would like to make an offering to the church in 2011, but cannot put the gift in this week’s offering plate, please mail a cheque to Westheights Community Church, Attention Treasurer, 82 Westheights Drive, Kitchener, ON N2N 2A8. Any gift that is postmarked before December 31st will be recorded as a gift for the 2011 year. Do not mail cash gifts.
For people who donate by direct debit, the final 2011 direct debit gift will be processed on December 30, 2011 to fall within the current year.
