The folks at ROOF (Reaching Our Outdoor Friends) are looking for donations of sleeping bags, blankets, mitts, toques boots, scarves and coats. As the weather starts to chill up, young people in our city who have no where to go and end up on the streets of KW are at serious risk if we can’t get them things to keep them warm. ROOF is an excellent, established agency working with homeless young people, who often get overlooked by other systems.
If you have things to donate, please drop them off directly at ROOF, who are located at 242 Queen St. Kitchener. Office Hours are from 10AM-4PM, Monday to Friday and 2-5PM on Weekends.
