Read Matthew 5:13-16
Salt adds flavour to food and also acts as a preservative. Why do you think Jesus called us the “Salt of the earth” and the “Light of the world” in this passage?

2. How does your character lead to those actions that flavour and illuminate the world?
3. Consult your Prayer Journal. In what areas do you need God’s help to be the salt and light Jesus is talking about? In what areas can you thank God that He has given you strength?
