On Sunday night, 65 adults gathered for our Reno Info event. It was a great turnout and wonderful time of discussing the future of Westheights Community Church. In case you missed it here is a quick review.
The focus of the meeting was to present a plan for renovations to our Westheights facilities. These renovations would offer a number of benefits to our ministries. It will allow us to increase auditorium seating by 25%, increase children’s ministry space by 75% and foyer space by 65%. It will also provide greatly improved and code-compliant accessibility for our building at the entrance, stairwell and to the basement with a lift. The project will broken into two phases over the next seven years to ensure the funding of the project is manageable.
The fund raising will begin in the fall and the theme for the campaign will be called Greater Things.
