Great story from the folks out at the New Hamburg Thrift Store as they became the first thrift store ever in Canada to forward more then $1,000,000 to charity in a single year. If you’ve never been to the New Hamburg store or Waterloo Generations, you’re really missing out on some great deals and an easy way to help Mennonite Central Committee.

Mennonite Central Committee is a development and relief organization that works around the world providing food programs, disaster relief, health work and more. They’re a great bunch of people and Westheights is proud to contribute to their work (as well as have some great staff as part of our community). For more about the story and MCC in general head to mcco.ca

Thanks a million 3 comp
