John Dunnington’s mother, Ruth Dunnington, passed away this past Friday, June 28, 2013. May John and Beverly find solace and comfort in God’s compassion during this time of mourning.

OBITUARY as follows:
Dunnington, Ruth Phyllis (nee Haynes) passed away peacefully on Friday June 28, 2013 at Lanark Place after a long and wonderful life. Predeceased by Kenneth, her loving husband of more than 66 years. Loving mother of Adrienne Hawkins (Richard), Kathleen White (Peter), Margaret Dunnington, John (Beverly) and Robert (Marion). Special grandma to Pamela (Mark), Heather (Hans), Eric, Angela (Steve), Adam, Michael, Stephen, Sarah, Nicholas and Samantha. Survived by her sister Leone Moriarity of Paris. Predeceased by her parents Milton and Margaret Haynes, sisters and brothers, Norine, Charles, Margaret, Kathleen, Marie, John and Ryan. Mom was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Grandma, she enjoyed nothing more than a good game of cards, or a nice meal with family and friends at one of her favorite restaurants. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Lanark Place Retirement Residence for their care, respect, and concern for Mom. Ruth’s family will receive relatives and friends from 7-9 pm on Friday July 5, 2013 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St (519) 648-9949. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 49 Blueridge Ave, on Saturday July 6, 2013 at 1:00 pm. Interment Parkview Cemetery.
