We finally received a message from Pastor Todd: “Today we were at the pastors conference all day. It is about a twenty minute drive from hotel to the conference. The conference begins with praise and worship and the Kenyans really like to sing and dance as they worship. Each session has various speakers who emcee the service and then turn it over to one of the guest speakers. Each session is about an hour and a half.
Today Charlie spoke as well as his wife Becky and a representative from MCC who lives in Nairobi. After a full day of meetings they provide us with tea and we head back to our hotel.
Dinner is between seven and eight and then we head back to our rooms to do the preparation for the next morning.
It was a busy day and tomorrow will be much the same.”
