Ever feel like you’ve come “Unglued”? Together we’ll dig deeper into learning how to acknowledge, understand, and manage the raw emotions that are commonplace to the average woman.

As women, we are incredibly busy, and we rarely find time to experience close fellowship with each other. A weekend away gives us the chance to build relationships with other women in our church, grow spiritually, rejuvenate, and have fun.

We’re returning to the beautiful Woodhouse Retreat Centre at Hidden Acres for a mini retreat to relax, connect, and be encouraged.

We’ll be meeting at Hidden Acres Mennonite Camp and Retreat Centre in New Hamburg (near Shakespeare) at 7:00pm on Friday, May 23 and departing at 1:00pm on Sunday, May 25. Be sure to bring a Bible, lawn chair, bedding for a single bed, a towel and toiletries.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Lodging: Woodhouse is a beautiful, spacious retreat centre with excellent facilities. You can find more information about Woodhouse at the Hidden Acres website.

Food: Meals and snacks included. We will try to accommodate special dietary needs.

Focus: Our theme for the weekend is Unglued: Managing Our Emotions, based on the new book by bestselling author Lysa TerKeurst. Each time we feel a raw emotion coming to the surface it’s an opportunity to either fall back into patterns that make us wallow in guilt or choose more wisely and make progress. Let’s choose to progress!

Registration deadline is Sunday May 11 and space is limited, so sign up today by filling out a registration form, available here or on the media table in the Westheights auditorium.
