We are sad to announce that Harold Page passed away this morning (May 1, 2014), but we know that he is safely in the arms of his Lord and Saviour. Those of us who knew and loved Harold will miss him deeply. Harold was spry and spirited, always volunteering wherever he could and sharing a joke to lift our spirits.

HAROLD GLADSTONE PAGE (January 21, 1925-May 1, 2014)

After a purposeful and fulfilled life, Harold passed away in his 90th year on May 1, 2014 at Forest Heights Long Term Care, Kitchener.

He was the cherished husband of Jean for 64 years and loving father of Donald and Margot of Stevensville and Linda and Jim Deziel of Waterloo.

Beloved grandfather to Fraser and Jessica, Taylor and Denise and great-grandfather to Ariadne. We will all miss the love, guidance and caring Harold gave not only to his family but also to his many friends throughout his life. Harold was a dedicated volunteer for over 20 years at St. Mary’s Hospital and at Westheights Community Church. An avid world traveler, Harold enjoyed experiencing new cultures and photographing inspiring landscapes. He will also be missed by his sister Marie Lomax (Jack) of British Columbia and sister-in-law June Sparling of Owen Sound.

He is predeceased by his sisters Margaret Green, Dorothy Borg, brother William Page and his parents George and Edna Page.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Harold with his family during visitation at the Erb & Good Family Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo on Sunday, May 4, 2014 from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 5, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Todd Lester officiating. A light reception will follow in the Fireside Reception Room at the funeral home.

Interment at Memory Gardens, Breslau.
