Thank you so much, parents, for being curious, flexible and supportive through so many changes in the past year! Now that we’ve touched down at Westheights,  we’ve been settling into some serious routine for the kids. (Love how “routine” is a happy word in kid-land!) Here are some reminders of same-old, same-olds that might need some dusting off after our months of change:

1) Our On Your Mark! Elementary program (SK-Grade 5) has resumed its end time of 11:45–which gives us the extra time we need for optimal kid-styled learning and relationship building!  Added bonus for parents: Enjoy that extra coffee and connection time, eh? Parents of Infants, Toddlers and Preschool-JKers, you may pick up your children when the service ends, or closer to 11:45, as you pick up your Elementary kids!

2) In the event of an Emergency Evacuation of the church building, be aware that our Toddler through Grade 5 leaders/caregivers have been trained to evacuate all children from the lower level. Please exit the building directly from the main level, and meet your toddler, preschool or elementary-aged child outside, in the area closest to the corner of Westheights Dr. and Queen’s Blvd. All children must be checked out before they can be released to a parent.

3) Parents of children in Infant Care, it is recommended that you sit on the side of the auditorium closest to the Infant Care area. Should you be paged by Infant Care, it will be easier to exit the auditorium. In the unlikely event of an evacuation, you will be in a position to support Infant Caregivers and ushers who will be exiting the building with the children.

Thanks for partnering with us! We love being with your kids.
