We appreciate the ongoing support of so many people who contribute to the ministry of Westheights. There is much to be grateful for as a congregation but as a Church Board we feel it is our responsibility to keep the congregation up-to-date on the financial needs of our church, especially when we are short of our budget. At the half-way point in the year, we have received $165,388 in the General Fund which is 40% of our annual budget. Please pray that God will continue to bless our ministries with the financial resources to meet our 2016 budget by the end of the year.
Also, giving to the Greater Things building fund is at $35,798 so far this year. Our pledged target for the year is $120,000.
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 You must each decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” And God will generously provide all you need.
