The Canadian premiere of Over 18, a film about pornography produced by Hope for the Sold, is happening on Saturday, October 1 with a local screening on Tuesday, October 4th at 7:00 pm at Hazelglen Alliance Church. Over 18 is an examination of modern pornography and its effects on kids, teens, parents, and porn stars. The goal of the project is to educate youth on the realities of pornography, help their parents understand the growing epidemic of hardcore porn usage, and propose solutions for preventing exposure and addiction in the first place.

A note: There is no nudity of any kind in the film, but the subject matter is mature. We are recommending age 16+ for the screening, but are encouraging parents to talk to their kids beforehand. If the kids have seen porn, they should be there. Most boys are exposed to it by age 12, so the conversation needs to be had.
