Inshallah was born out of a desire to use song to connect with people around the world. Inshallah is a choir of more than 100 voices, gathering from across Waterloo Region, singing songs of praise and prayer, of joy and lament, from around the world . It is a welcoming, inclusive place which nurtures a spirituality of openness, an acceptance of differences, an understanding of challenges as we learn about original contexts of songs and sing for global peace and justice. It is a place where we joyfully celebrate and embrace life through song.
Introducing “Inshallah Kids” … a multi-faith, multicultural children’s choir imagined from what has become Inshallah, and initiated to provide an opportunity for interested children to sing, learn and be together.
What: Inshallah Kids
Who: Any children, Grade 2 or higher, who enjoy singing and making music
Where: Waterloo Lutheran Seminary
Rehearsals: Mondays 6:30 – 7:30 PM
Registration deadline: Monday, October 3, 2016
Performance Concert: Saturday, November 5, 2016
