The results are in, and below is a message to Westheights Church from The Food Bank of Waterloo Region. Thanks to everybody who participated at Halloween for Hunger and who donated food!
WOW!!!! Thank you very much for running a Fall Food & Fund Drive. We know our 80 member agencies and programs are counting on us to provide more than 70,000lbs of fresh, frozen, and non-perishable food every week. Food & Fund Drives are an important part of meeting this need.
I wanted to let you know the total meal count that Westheights Community Church was able to raise through your Food & Fund Drive this fall:
Food Donated: 2,481 lbs
Funds: $64.00
For a total of 2,130 meals that will go out into our community!
Please pass our appreciation on to everyone who participated and thank you again for all the work that you have done, and continue to do on our behalf. It is because of the strong community leadership we see that we are able to reach across the region to everyone in need.
