Second Annual Prayer in the Park Event on Sunday, June 3 at Victoria Park, from 1:30-4:30 pm.

Prayer in the Park is a joint initiative for all Christians in Waterloo Region. Jesus prayed for us saying, “I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one—I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me” (John 17:22, 23). Our unity impacts the world for God’s glory!

Prayer in the Park was started as a response to the question, “What would it look like for us in Waterloo Region to come together in unity like never before?”  When Hezekiah and the people celebrated, “the hand of God was on the people to give them unity of mind to carry out what the king and his officials had ordered, following the word of the Lord” (2 Chronicles 30:12). Our prayer is that the hand of God will be on the churches of Waterloo Region to give us unity of mind to carry out the word of the Lord here in Waterloo Region.
